Every culture has three things in common – Music, Food, and Dancing.

The Israeli culture is no different than the others. The Jewish culture, and later in the modern days, the Israeli culture embrace these three motives.

The Israeli dancing started in early 1900 with jewish people who came to Israel, purchase land and started to farm the land. They dressed like the local arabs and for most parts became local.

Back then there was no T.V or Internet, Movies were far away and the main entertainment was singing and dancing. The newly immigrants brought with them the traditional Hora from the Hasidic Orthodox culture, and adapted the local druze or arab Debka – which was more suitable for the area.
